AFCON 2017 Qualifiers : Tunisia beats Djibouti 3-0
DJIBOUTI, Jun. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Tunisia defeated Djibouti by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday afternoon at the Stade national El Hadj Hassan Gouled Aptidon in Djibouti.
Tunisia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Sliti ('15) and Harbaoui ('43). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Tunisians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Khenissi in the 58th minute.
The result put the Tunisians top of Group A with 10 points. Djibouti is bottom with no points. In their last game, Tunisia will meet second-placed Liberia at the Stade national El Hadj Hassan Gouled Aptidon on September 4, while Djibouti will face Togo.
