AFCON 2017 Qualifiers : DR Congo beats Madagascar 2-1
KINSHASA, Jun. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Madagascar by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon at the Tata Raphael Stadium in Kinshasa.
Madagascar made the congoleses doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Mubele ('58) and Kimwaki ('73).
The result put the congolese second in Group B with 3 points. In their next game, DR Congo will meet the Central African Republic at the Tata Raphael Stadium on September 6, while Madagascar will face Angola.
