ANTANANARIVO, Mar. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Madagascar tied 1-1 with the Central African Republic (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday afternoon at the Mahamasina Municipal Stadium in Antananarivo.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Andriamatsinoro ('80 on penalty) for Madagascar, Limane ('86) for the Central African Republic.
The result put the Central Africans second in Group B with 4 points. Madagascar is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, the Central African Republic will meet Madagascar at the Mahamasina Municipal Stadium on March 28, while Madagascar will face the Central African Republic.
