AFCON 2017 Qualifiers : Angola and Madagascar both exit Africa Cup of Nations
LUANDA, Sep. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Angola tied 1-1 with Madagascar (halftime: 0-1), in a AFCON qualifying game on Saturday afternoon at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda.
The Malagasys started off well by taking the lead thanks to Razakanantenaina in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Angola with a saving goal from Gelson in the 55th minute.
