KINSHASA, Sep. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated the Central African Republic by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a AFCON qualifying game on Sunday night at the Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte in Kinshasa.
DR Congo dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Kebano in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Congoleses further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Mubele '56, Bolingi '76 and Botaka '89).
