AFCON 2017 Qualifiers : Congo-Brazzaville and Kenya play to a 1-1 draw
OWANDO, Jun. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Congo-Brazzaville tied 1-1 with Kenya (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon at the Marien Ngouabi Stadium in Owando.
One goal for both sides in the first half, Oniangue ('35 on penalty) for Congo-Brazzaville, Were ('10) for Kenya and none in the second.
The result left both teams on top of Group E with one point. In their next game, Kenya will meet third-placed Zambia at the Marien Ngouabi Stadium on September 6, while Congo-Brazzaville will face Guinea-Bissau.
