NDOLA, Mar. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Zambia tied 1-1 with Congo-Brazzaville (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday night at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Kalengo ('60) for Zambia, Massengo ('75) for Congo-Brazzaville.
The result put the Congolese top of Group E with 5 points. Zambia is second with 5 points. In their next game, Congo-Brazzaville will meet second-placed Zambia at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on March 27, while Zambia will face Congo-Brazzaville.
