CONGO-BRAZZAVILLE, Mar. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Congo-Brazzaville tied 1-1 with Zambia (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon at the Kintélé Municipal Stadium in Congo-Brazzaville.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Massengo ('47) for Congo-Brazzaville, Kalengo ('72) for Zambia.
The result put the Congolese top of Group E with 6 points. Zambia is second with 6 points. In their next game, Congo-Brazzaville will meet Kenya at the Kintélé Municipal Stadium on June 5, while Zambia will face Guinea-Bissau.
