CONGO-BRAZZAVILLE, Sep. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Congo-Brazzaville defeated Guinea-Bissau by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a AFCON qualifying game on Sunday afternoon at the Kintélé Municipal Stadium in Congo-Brazzaville.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Doré in the 74th minute.
Guinea-Bissau secured their ticket to the AFCON finals. Congo-Brazzaville is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Group E
