AGADIR, Jun. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated Libya by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday night at the Agadir Stadium.
45 minutes of play and neither the Moroccans nor the Libyans have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Moroccan midfielder Omar El Kaddouri in the 50th minute.
The result put the Moroccans top of Group F with 3 points. In their next game, Morocco will meet São Tomé and Príncipe at the Agadir Stadium on September 5, while Libya will face Cape Verde.
