SãO TOMé (CITY), Sep. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated São Tomé and Príncipe by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Estádio Nacional 12 de Julho in São Tomé (city).
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Nordin Amrabat ('34), El Arabi ('38) and Nabil Dirar ('41).
The result put the Moroccans top of Group F with 6 points. São Tomé and Príncipe is bottom with no points. In their next game, Morocco will meet second-placed Cape Verde at the Estádio Nacional 12 de Julho on March 26, while São Tomé and Príncipe will face Libya.
