KADUNA, Mar. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Nigeria tied 1-1 with Egypt (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday afternoon at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Oghenekaro ('60) for Nigeria, Salah ('90) for Egypt.
The result put the Egyptians top of Group G with 7 points. Nigeria is second with 2 points. In their next game, Egypt will meet second-placed Nigeria at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on March 29, while Nigeria will face Egypt.
