AFCON 2017 Qualifiers : Seychelles defeats Lesotho 2-0
VICTORIA, Mar. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : The Seychelles defeated Lesotho by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Stade Linité in Victoria.
The Seychelles dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Waye-Hive in the 2nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Seychellois,Seychelloises further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Suzette in the 78th minute.
The result put the Seychellois,Seychelloise second in Group J with 4 points. Lesotho is bottom with no points. In their next game, the Seychelles will meet Lesotho at the Stade Linité on March 29, while Lesotho will face the Seychelles.
