AFCON 2017 Qualifiers : Algeria beats Lesotho 6-0 to qualify for 2017 AFCON
BLIDA, Sep. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Algeria defeated Lesotho by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 5-0), in a AFCON qualifying game on Sunday night at the Stade Mustapha Tchaker in Blida.
Soudani and Riyad Mahrez scored dual goals
Algeria dominated the first half thanks to goals from Soudani ('7, '38), Mahrez ('18), Taïder ('23) and Boudebouz ('45 on penalty). Leading 5-0 at the break, the Algerians further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Mahrez in the 74th minute.
