NIAMEY, Jun. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Niger defeated Namibia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon at the General Seyni Kountché Stadium in Niamey.
All the action happened in the first half, with Sacko goal on penalty in the 34th minute.
The result put the Nigeriens second in Group K with 3 points. In their next game, Niger will meet Burundi at the General Seyni Kountché Stadium on September 5, while Namibia will face Senegal.
