AFCON 2017 Qualifiers : Namibia beats Niger 1-0
WINDHOEK, Jun. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Namibia defeated Niger by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek.
All the action happened in the first half, with Shalulile goal in the 25th minute.
The result put the Namibians third in Group K with 6 points. Niger is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, Namibia will meet group leaders Senegal at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on September 3, while Niger will face Burundi.
