LOBAMBA, Mar. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Swaziland tied 1-1 with Zimbabwe (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday afternoon at the Somhlolo National Stadium in Lobamba.
One goal for both sides in the first half, Badenhorst ('2) for Swaziland, Ndlovu ('44 own) for Zimbabwe and none in the second.
The result put the Swazi top of Group L with 5 points. Zimbabwe is second with 5 points. In their next game, Swaziland will meet second-placed Zimbabwe at the Somhlolo National Stadium on March 28, while Zimbabwe will face Swaziland.
