AFCON 2017 Qualifiers : Swaziland beats Guinea 1-0
LOBAMBA, Jun. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 (Qualifiers) : Swaziland defeated Guinea by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon at the Somhlolo National Stadium in Lobamba.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Ndzinisa in the 46th minute.
The result put the Swazi second in Group L with 8 points. Guinea is third with 5 points. In their last game, Swaziland will meet Malawi at the Somhlolo National Stadium on September 4, while Guinea will face Zimbabwe.
