BATA, Sep. 8, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Equatorial Guinea defeated Sudan by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Estadio de Bata.
All the action happened in the first half, with Equatorial Guinean striker Emilio Nsue goal in the 30th minute.
The result put the Equatorial Guineans third in Group A with 3 points. Sudan is bottom with no points. In their next game, Equatorial Guinea will meet second-placed Madagascar at the Estadio de Bata on October 13, while Sudan will face Senegal.
