AFCON 2019 Qualifiers : Madagascar and Senegal tied at 2-2

ANTANANARIVO, Sep. 9, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Madagascar tied 2-2 with Senegal (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon at the Mahamasina Municipal Stadium in Antananarivo.

One goal for both sides in the first half, Voavy ('43) for Madagascar, Konaté ('26) for Senegal and one each in the second, Koulibaly ('67 own) for Madagascar, Keita ('62) for Senegal.

The result put the Senegalese top of Group A with 4 points. Madagascar is second with 4 points. In their next game, Senegal will meet Sudan at the Mahamasina Municipal Stadium on October 13, while Madagascar will face Equatorial Guinea.
