AFCON 2019 Qualifiers : Sudan and Equatorial Guinea both exit Africa Cup of Nations
OMDURMAN, Mar. 22, 2019 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Equatorial Guinea defeated Sudan by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a AFCON qualifying game on Friday afternoon at the Al-Hilal Stadium in Omdurman.
Emilio Nsue scored dual goals
Sudan opened the score in the score in the 15th minute thanks to Bakhit, before Equatorial Guinea regained the advantage with Nsue ('19 on penalty, '36 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Equatorial Guineans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ganet '49 and Obiang '85).
