AFCON 2019 Qualifiers : Morocco beats Malawi 3-0
CASABLANCA, Sep. 8, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated Malawi by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday night at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
En-Nesyri scored dual goals
Morocco dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ziyech ('3) and En-Nesyri ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Moroccans further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by En-Nesyri in the 78th minute.
The result put the Moroccans second in Group B with 3 points. Malawi is third with 3 points. In their next game, Morocco will meet Comoros at the Mohammed V Stadium on October 13, while Malawi will face Cameroon.
