CASABLANCA, Nov. 16, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated Cameroon by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday night at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
Ziyech scored dual goals
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with two goals by Ziyech at '54 (on penalty) and '66.
The result put the Moroccans top of Group B with 10 points. Cameroon is second with 8 points. In their last game, Morocco will meet third-placed Malawi at the Mohammed V Stadium on March 22, while Cameroon will face Comoros.
