YAOUNDé, Mar. 23, 2019 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Cameroon defeated Comoros by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a AFCON qualifying game on Saturday afternoon at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé.
Cameroon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cameroonians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Bassogog '53 and N'Jie '89).
