AFCON 2019 Qualifiers : Burundi beats South Sudan 3-0
BUJUMBURA, Jun. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Burundi defeated South Sudan by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Prince Louis Rwagasore Stadium in Bujumbura.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Amissi ('12), Duhayindavyi ('16) and Abdul Razak ('30).
The result put the Burundians top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Burundi will meet Gabon at the Prince Louis Rwagasore Stadium on September 8, while South Sudan will face Mali.
