BAMAKO, Mar. 23, 2019 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Mali defeated South Sudan by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a AFCON qualifying game on Saturday night at the Stade du 26-Mars in Bamako.
Mali dominated the first half thanks to goals from K. Coulibaly ('18) and Djenepo ('28). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Malians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Traoré seconds before the end of regulation.
Mali secured their ticket to the AFCON finals. South Sudan is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Group C
