COTONOU, Oct. 16, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Benin defeated Algeria by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday afternoon at the Stade de l'Amitié in Cotonou.
All the action happened in the first half, with D'Almeida goal in the 16th minute.
The result put the Algerians top of Group D with 7 points. Benin is second with 7 points. In their next game, Algeria will meet Togo at the Stade de l'Amitié on November 18, while Benin will face Gambia.
