AFCON 2019 Qualifiers : Libya beats Seychelles 8-1
VICTORIA, Nov. 17, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Libya defeated the Seychelles by a big score of 8-1 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Stade Linité in Victoria.
Saltou scored tripple goals
Libya dominated the first half thanks to goals from Sabbou ('2) and Saltou ('20, '31). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Libyans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring five times (Majdi '55, Elmslaty '58, Saltou '62, Al-Shadi '85 and Elhouni '90).
The result put the Libyans third in Group E with 7 points. The Seychelles is bottom with one point. In their last game, Libya will meet second-placed South Africa at the Stade Linité on March 24, while the Seychelles will face Nigeria.
