ADDIS ABABA, Nov. 18, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Ghana defeated Ethiopia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon at the Addis Ababa Stadium.
Jordan Ayew scored dual goals
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Jordan Ayew ('3, '24 on penalty).
The result put the Ghanaians second in Group F with 6 points. Ethiopia is third with one point. In their last game, Ghana will meet group leaders Kenya at the Addis Ababa Stadium on March 23, while Ethiopia will face Sierra Leone.
