LUANDA, Sep. 9, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Angola defeated Botswana by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda.
All the action happened in the first half, with Gelson goal in the 30th minute.
The result put the Angolans third in Group I with 3 points. Botswana is bottom with no points. In their next game, Angola will meet group leaders Mauritania at the Estádio 11 de Novembro on October 12, while Botswana will face Burkina Faso.
