RADES, Jun. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Tunisia defeated Egypt by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday night at the Rades Olympic Stadium.
45 minutes of play and neither the Tunisians nor the Egyptians have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Khenissi in the 47th minute.
The result put the Tunisians top of Group J with 3 points. In their next game, Tunisia will meet second-placed Eswatini at the Rades Olympic Stadium on September 9, while Egypt will face Niger.
