AFCON 2019 Qualifiers : Egypt beats Eswatini 4-1
CAIRO, Oct. 12, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Egypt defeated Eswatini by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday night at the Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo.
Egypt dominated the first half thanks to goals from A. El Mohamady ('7), Warda ('10), Trézéguet ('29) and Salah ('44). Leading 4-0 at the break, the Egyptians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
The result put the Egyptians top of Group J with 6 points. Eswatini is third with one point. In their next game, Egypt will meet third-placed Eswatini at the Al-Salam Stadium on October 16, while Eswatini will face Egypt.
