NDOLA, Jun. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Mozambique defeated Zambia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Zambia made the Mozambicans doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Ratifo seconds before the end of regulation.
The result put the Mozambicans top of Group K with 3 points. In their next game, Mozambique will meet Guinea-Bissau at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on September 8, while Zambia will face Namibia.
