WINDHOEK, Oct. 16, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Namibia defeated Mozambique by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday night at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek.
45 minutes of play and neither the Namibians nor the Mozambicans have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Shalulile in the 72nd minute.
The result put the Namibians second in Group K with 7 points. Mozambique is bottom with 4 points. In their next game, Namibia will meet group leaders Guinea-Bissau at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on November 17, while Mozambique will face Zambia.
