AFCON 2019 Qualifiers : Namibia loses to Zambia 4-1 but qualifies for 2019 AFCON

LUSAKA, Mar. 23, 2019 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Zambia defeated Namibia by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a AFCON qualifying game on Saturday night at the Heroes National Stadium in Lusaka.

Mulenga scored dual goals

Zambia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mulenga in the 13th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Zambians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Malama '55, Mulenga '82 and Kambole '90).

Namibia secured their ticket to the AFCON finals. Zambia is eliminated.
