MASERU, Sep. 9, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Lesotho tied 1-1 with Cape Verde (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon at the Setsoto Stadium in Maseru.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Motebang ('70) for Lesotho, [Djaniny ('75) for Cape Verde.
The result put the Basotho second in Group L with 2 points. Cape Verde is bottom with one point. In their next game, Lesotho will meet group leaders Uganda at the Setsoto Stadium on October 13, while Cape Verde will face Tanzania.
