AFCON 2019 Qualifiers : Lesotho beats Tanzania 1-0
MASERU, Nov. 18, 2018 (AMP) — Cameroon 2019 (Qualifiers) : Lesotho defeated Tanzania by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon at the Setsoto Stadium in Maseru.
Tanzania made the Basothos doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Lerotholi in the 76th minute.
The result put the Tanzanians second in Group L with 5 points. Lesotho is third with 5 points. In their last game, Tanzania will meet group leaders Uganda at the Setsoto Stadium on March 24, while Lesotho will face Cape Verde.
