MADRID, Oct. 1, 2014 (AMP) — Champions League 2014-15 : Atletico Madrid defeated Juventus by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Vicente Calderon Stadium in Madrid.

The result put Juve top of Group A with 3 points. Atletico is second with 3 points. In their next game, Juventus will meet Olympiacos at the Vicente Calderon Stadium on October 22, while Atletico Madrid will face Malmö FF.
