LISBON, Nov. 25, 2014 (AMP) — Champions League 2014-15 : Sporting Lisbon defeated Maribor by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon.

The result put Sporting second in Group G with 7 points. Maribor is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, Sporting Lisbon will meet group leaders Chelsea at the Estádio José Alvalade on December 10, while Maribor will face Schalke 04.
