Bayern Munich beats Porto to advance to Champions League semifinals
MUNICH, Apr. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2014-15 : Bayern Munich defeated Porto by a big score of 6-1 (halftime: 5-0), in the second leg of a quarterfinals on Tuesday night at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
Robert Lewandowski scored dual goals
Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to goals from Alcántara ('14), Boateng ('22), Lewandowski ('27, '40) and Müller ('36). Leading 5-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Alonso with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
