Champions League 2014-15 : Basel and Porto tied at 1-1

BASEL, Feb. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2014-15 : Basel tied 1-1 with Porto (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a round of 16 game on Wednesday night at St. Jakob-Park in Basel.

Basel players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Gonzalez in the 11th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Porto with a saving goal from Brazilian defender Danilo on penalty in the 79th minute.

The second leg between Basel and Porto will be played on Tuesday March 10, 2015 (kick-off: 20:45) in Porto.
