Porto beats Basel to reach Champions League quarterfinals
PORTO, Mar. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2014-15 : Porto defeated Basel by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Tuesday night at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto.
Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Algerian midfielder Yacine Brahimi in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Herrera '47, Casemiro '56 and Aboubakar '76).
