Real Madrid loses to Schalke 04 but reaches Champions League quarterfinals
MADRID, Mar. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2014-15 : Schalke 04 defeated Real Madrid by a score of 4-3 (halftime: 2-2), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Tuesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scored dual goals
Two goals for both sides during the first half, Fuchs (20e) and Huntelaar (40e) for Real Madrid, Ronaldo (25e, 45e) for Schalke 04. After the break, the Royal Blues settled the issue with two additional goals by Sané ('57) and Huntelaar ('84).
