Monaco loses to Arsenal but reaches Champions League quarterfinals
MONACO, Mar. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2014-15 : Arsenal defeated Monaco by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Tuesday night at the Stade Louis II in Monaco.
Arsenal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Olivier Giroud in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gunners further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ramsey in the 79th minute.
