Champions League 2015-16 : Real Madrid defeats Shakhtar 4-0

MADRID, Sep. 15, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Real Madrid defeated Shakhtar Donetsk by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored tripple goals

Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Karim Benzema in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Ronaldo '55/penalty, '63/penalty, '81).

The result put Real Madrid top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Real Madrid will meet third-placed Malmö FF at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on September 30, while Shakhtar Donetsk will face PSG.
