Champions League 2015-16 : Real Madrid beats Malmö 2-0

MALMö, Sep. 30, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Real Madrid defeated Malmö FF by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Swedbank Stadion in Malmö.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored dual goals

Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Ronaldo seconds before the end of regulation.

The result put Real Madrid top of Group A with 6 points. Malmö is third with no points. In their next game, Real Madrid will meet second-placed PSG at the Swedbank Stadion on October 21, while Malmö FF will face Shakhtar Donetsk.
