Champions League 2015-16 : Real Madrid defeats Shakhtar 4-3

LVIV, Nov. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Real Madrid defeated Shakhtar Donetsk by a score of 4-3 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Arena Lviv.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored dual goals

Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Modrić '50, Carvajal '52 and Ronaldo '70).

The result put Real Madrid top of Group A with 13 points. Shakhtar is third with 3 points. In their last game, Real Madrid will meet Malmö FF at the Arena Lviv on December 8, while Shakhtar Donetsk will face PSG.
