KHIMKI, Nov. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Wolfsburg defeated CSKA Moscow by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Khimki Arena.

CSKA Moscow made Wolfsburg doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Akinfeev Igor ('67 own) and Schürrle ('88).

The result put Wolfsburg top of Group B with 9 points. CSKA Moscow is bottom with 4 points. In their last game, Wolfsburg will meet second-placed Manchester United at the Khimki Arena on December 8, while CSKA Moscow will face PSV Eindhoven.
