Champions League 2015-16 : Benfica and Atletico qualify for the Round of 16

LISBON, Dec. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Atletico Madrid defeated Benfica by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon.

Atletico Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Saúl Ñiguez in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Colchoneros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Vietto in the 55th minute.
