MANCHESTER, Sep. 15, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Juventus defeated Manchester City by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

Manchester City made Juventus doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Mandžukić ('70) and Morata ('81).

The result put Juve second in Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Juventus will meet group leaders Sevilla at the Etihad Stadium on September 30, while Manchester City will face Mönchengladbach.
